NURTURED
BE
Although my first associations with being nurtured come from loving family members including my mother and aunties, good self-care has been my “being nurtured” go to as an adult. Holding space for myself and what I really need is the way I am able to be whole and clear enough to serve others with an open heart. Difficult as it may seem at times, I know being nurtured is a lifeline for me. Similar to the message given by flight attendants, if the oxygen masks appear, I need to place one on myself first so I can be available to assist others.
